Interests:

My primary interest is in the area of public policy affecting children. In particular, my work involves the Louisiana BrightStart Initiative, a federally funded effort to assist states in developing a comprehensive system for early childhood, encompassing five critical components: mental health and social-emotional development, access to health insurance and medical homes, child care, parenting education and family support.
