The program – in all disciplines - shifts from hospital-based care to clinic- and community- based care. • The program's didactic curriculum is organized to teach the basic and clinical sciences of pediatrics, adult psychiatry, and child psychiatry. This includes examining multiple theoretical frameworks as well as pertinent conceptual issues that may not arise in clinical rotations. • In most seminars, especially during the psychiatric training years, instruction is interdisciplinary in an effort to promote learning, enhance dialogue, and offer multiple perspectives. • Throughout the five years, effort is made to integrate the three specialties (pediatrics, adult psychiatry, and child psychiatry) continuously, as much as possible.
